[/blockquote]PERSONALITY: Taz is not entirely unlike his sister, not just in appearance, but in personality as well. Yet where Willow does her best to remain strong, Taz harly even tries. He's always been quite the timid little tom, and it only got worse when they were left at the farm, away from their family. He keeps very much to himself, seldom even speaking to another cat besides his sister. It wouldn't be hard to mistake him for a mute, he may even act as such sometimes, refusing to speak. Yet he can be as bad a chatterbox as his sister, so long as it's her he's talking to. Toward anyone else, he's immensely shy. He doesn't look for friends, really, Willow is all he needs, so where his sister is social, Taz is just about the opposite. It's difficult for him to speak with anyone else, always worrying he'll say something stupid and they'll laugh at him, or that he might give away how weak he really is, and they'll take advantage of him. Clearly, he has trust issues. And emotional ones, to boot. He can hardly take a joke, the slightest insult could visibly hurt him, never mind anything truly harsh. There is 'one' thing that may provoke actual retaliation from him though. Insult his sister instead. He'd be unlikely to jump you, but it might at least get him to speak up.
He'll most often be found following his sister around as if they were an invisible string keeping them together. He rarely leaves her side, and usually when he does, it's more because Willow had to go somewhere than he did. He depends on her, and he knows it, as useless as it makes him feel. She's the only reason he's still alive, and as much as he loves her, it makes him feel weak and pathetic, but he doesn't dare voice these thoughts. Though whether he does or not is irrelevant, it only makes it that much harder for him. He's tried to grow a backbone in the past, but he just... can't. Relying so much on Willow may have made it impossible for him. He scares so easy, and his voice quivers whenever he tries to stand up for himself. He doesn't even have her wits to help him, too frightened even to think when faced with any kind of danger. All Taz can do is hide behind her, follow her lead, as he's always done. And he hates it. He loves his sister, probably more than their own parents, but he hates how he is. In his mind, he's the brother, he should be protecting her, not the other way around. But how could he ever just turn things around, the way they are now?
Still, though he wishes he could change how he is, that he could be the stronger one, it doesn't make him love his sister any less. She means the world to him, and he'd be lost without her, die, without her. And even if he could survive, he wouldn't want to go on living in a place where she didn't exist. She's his sister, his best friend, the one he can tell anything to. Losing her would be no different than losing a half of himself, and preventing that loss may very well be the one thing that could make him fight.
