Willow, She-kit, Loner
Small, light-colored tiger tabby
[/blockquote]PERSONALITY: Because it needs to be said, first and foremost, Willow and her brother Taz are insepperable. Though they are littermates, Taz has always been like a little brother to her, regardless of age or size. You would be hard-pressed to find her without him. It is essentially impossible to speak of Willow's personality without him, they are too close to not be a part of each other's lives. After all, he was all she had after they were abandoned by their twolegs.
Willow, despite being the sister, is clearly the stronger one, constantly caring for and watching over her brother, never stopping to complain that she might deserve the same. To many it would seem that she mothers him; she loves him to death, and she's always put his well-being above her own. He's the only family she has left, and she would lay down her short life to protect him, and only regret it, because she would know how terribly he would miss her, worry that he might not make it on his own. But she would do it all the same.
This does not mean she is totally glued to him, though. They are not one being, and they don't act like one. They are simply some of the closest siblings that you can find. Willow just wouldn't go anywhere, without knowing that she would return to him again. Nothing could ever sway her to leave him permanently. Unless, perhaps, it were for his own good.
Enough said on their bond, and onto the actual Willow. Yes, as said before, she is the stronger of the two, but that doesn't mean she's a brave, fearless kit. Far from it, in fact. Willow is kind, really, she wouldn't hurt a fly without reason, but she's also shy, and even a bit timid. Yet she pushes this aside as much as she can, at least when in front of her brother. She feels that she must stay strong for his sake, however hard it might be for her. If she doesn't, then nobody will. She has made it her responsibility to keep him safe, with both their parents and sister out of the picture. However badly she misses them, it is only another thing the she-kit cannot let her brother see.
Despite her devotion, and desire to protect her brother, Willow is not a fighter. She is a gentle soul, and would better fit the role of a mother than anything else, when she grows. Hunting may be fine and all, but it isn't exactly one of her favorite activites. Given, she isn't that good at it anyways, and not surprisingly, at her age. The little tabby is social, even if she needs to warm up to someone before she can feel comfortable around them. But once she does, watch your ears, else she may talk them off. She can be playful in the same way. However much she tries to act like a big sister, she's still just a kitten, same as Taz. But often times, she hides it well.
What Willow lacks in physical strength and fighting skills, having little desire to gain either, she makes up for in wit, and quite a good judge of character. She'd rather outsmart someone than fight them anyday, it's easier for one thing, and usually means nobody will get hurt. Usually. It doesn't mean she won't cross that line to protect Taz and herself. But she'd rather make friends than enemies, anyways. Most of the time, she can tell when someone will end up being one or the other. As it is, she's rather oblivious to the crueler side of the world, having only ever needed to fend off a bigger cat trying to steal food. She can't imagine those killing for entertainment, heck, she's never even seen a cat that was worse than sick. She wouldn't ever consider killing someone herself. Faced with danger, Willow would be much more likely to find a clever way to escape, than actually stand up and fight.

HISTORY: As Willow is still so young, there is not much to be said about her, but the short story will describe what little history her and Taz have had together.
Both Tiger and Buster, their parents, were runts, and this is what brought about their own small size, even at birth. A litter of three, two she-kits, and a little tom. They made for a total of seven in the house they were born in, counting only the cats, of course. There were also four twolegs, and a dog. They had a pretty normal life, Willow growing closer to her brother as they got older, while Mittens, their sister, became more independant. But it didn't last. After only a few months, Willow noticed things changing. The older twolegs would keep talking into one of their many weird devices, and looking at the both of them when they did. Alternatively, they seemed either to avoid them entirely, or smother them with affection. This lasted for but a few days, before the twoleg home that was the only world they knew, changed entirely. Or rather, they were taken from it. The eldest twoleg kit, nearly grown himself, took them away, putting both Willow and her brother in some kind of box, before loading them up into one of those monsters they rode around in. Confusion and fear kept them both from really registering what was going on, and before they knew it the young twoleg was taking them back out of the monster, letting them out of the box in a place they didn't recognize. They were outside, for one thing, though there was a building close by, thick with the scent of animals and plants. Naturally, the curious kittens they were, Willow and Taz went to investigate, and by the time they came back, both the twoleg and the monster, were gone.
