Optimistically beautiful and bright as sunlight, Cherrytail manages to add both sugar and spice to StormClan.
Cherrytail is optimistic and consoling, but isn't afraid to stand her ground if you offend her. She's friendly but independent, flighty but steady on her feet, free and most definitely proud of it. She's a wonderful mentor to all the younger cats around her, seeing that they stay out of trouble and making sure they know the difference between right and wrong. Cherrytail is probably the most morally-aware cat in the entire clan. She's a she-cat with passion and a reason for living, and has the ability to brighten the darkest of days. Some cats question if she may become leader one day, as the position of deputy still seems to be in her grasp. Whether she takes it or not will most likely determine her mood at the time, as mentioned before, she is quite flighty.
Cherrytail has never wanted, nor will she probably ever want, a mate. It would be amazing if she could find such a cat that would fit sublimely beside her in partnership, match her personality in a complimenting way, rather than contrasting it. The task is a seemingly impossible one, and it is for this reason that Cherrytail has never bothered herself with flirting. Sure, toms have tried to lure her into companionship, as she always has been fairly lovely, though their advances never really worked. Cherrytail was always fully capable of detecting when a tom was fishing for her. She scuffed one of them; that particular tom never crossed her path again.
Cherry was born to Cloverpath and an unknown tom at the time of Duke Sithis' rule. Cloverpath, being descended from clan cats, made sure to teach the was of StarClan and the ways of the clans to her young kit before she grew terribly ill. She left Cherry with an outsider, and then retreated to find her place of dying. The outsider was a male, unfortunately, and so Cherry had to learn how to digest solid food. She developed a fondness for cherries, giving herself the name "Cherry". She was mostly alone, traveling by herself having left her caretaker moons ago, not straying too far into Royal territory at any particular time.
Eventually Sithis' reign had ended and Cherry heard of the Clans being reestablished, so she immediately joined StormClan with the knowledge that she had been raised with. She took the name Cherrytail for no real reason other than it sounded better than anything else she had come up with, and entered the clan smoothly, without any trouble. Realizing that she had the knowledge to make the clan better, Cherrytail made it a goal of hers to help anyone in need, becoming the most extroverted cat in the clan by far. She fit in rather well, though most cats were still scarred by the previous years of domination and inner-chaos. She refused to converse about such matters when providing comfort, understanding that it was not her place to offer advice on matters she did not fully understand.
