RASPBUTAN // SHARPTOOTH
StormClan
Warrior
29 Moons
Male
Dark red-brown tabby tom with gold eyes.
Raspbutan is a very serious feline. He has lived his entire life in the hopes of one day rising up and becoming Champion of a Bloodfest. He is very uptight and does not know the meaning of relax. He is stubborn, but a hard worker, and normally does not like to listen to others. He would give up everything for what he wants or what he loves, and deep down he does have a big heart, but it is buried under dreams and the moons spent in preparation. His mind revolves around killing, and he has an inner strength that is unrivaled by any other feline.
To keep things simple, Raspbutan was born a Tainted hunter that separated from his family at an early age. Aside from a childhood friend, El, he hardly ever associated with anyone. He spent his days shirking his work to better train and prepare for the Bloodfests. It was his dream since birth to be tossed onto the island and fight bloody battles, coming out champion and becoming a Knight. He would do anything it took to win and prove to the world that he was born to be greater than a humble hunter. El tried to warn him that it was foolish and not entirely likely, but he did not listen.
He was chosen for the Bloodfest at the very end of his participating age, much to his excitement and to El's disappointment. When he went up against his first cat, the idea of killing suddenly overwhelmed him, but for El's sake he was able to press on and become victorious. Suddenly, however, a plan was hatched and the other slaves began to revolt. Horrified, Raspbutan attempted to stand his ground against them and prove that he was loyal to serving the Duke, but it did not matter. In the eyes of the Royals, he was as much to blame as everyone else. In the end, he was forced into being a slave and everyone else was able to beat and abuse him. Raspbutan was picked up by the Bloody Paw for his sustained loyalty when he could have faltered, and though he was not been able to find El, he was still fairly happy.
As a Bloody Paw, he became far more cruel and dark. Angered by the Duke, he took out his fury on those they were sent to assassinate. It became easier and easier for him to kill without mercy or care, and he lost the essence of what had always held him back, his deep, hidden compassion for cat-kind fueled by his love for El. When the cats rebelled and fought against the Duke, Raspbutan openly fought with the mighty ruler. When he lost, however, he did not leave with the others. He simply accepted defeat and realized that if he ever wanted to find true happiness again, he would need to look for El. When he was still unable to locate her, he found himself joining a Clan, and hoping that he might some day be able to find happiness once again.
