Affiliation Update: Eclipse: A Heroes RPG

ECLIPSE'S AFFILIATE BANNER CODING HAS CHANGED (mainly because i lern code gud). IF WE ARE CURRENTLY AFFILIATED ON YOUR BOARD, PLEASE UPDATE THE CODING ACCORDINGLY:

Also, Eclipse: A Heroes RPG now has a nice, new, large scrolling banner as well as a banner for 56 static affiliates! All of our affiliates are currently in the scrolling banner.

If you would like to apply for a place among Eclipse's static affiliates, here are the static affiliate rules:

- Your board must have been posted on with in-character posts within the last 30 days, or your banner will be placed in the list of scrolling affiliates.

- Static affiliates are on a first come, first serve basis until all 56 spaces are taken up. We'll make a waiting list from there.

- YOUR BANNER MUST BE 88 PIXELS WIDE BY 31 PIXELS HIGH OR THE BG WILL BE SAD. DO NOT MAKE THE BG SAD.

- If you request to be added to our static banner, please make sure that Eclipse's banner has already been added to your site's static banner. The coding for our banner can be found here:

Description: Eclipse takes place after all of the events in NBC's Heroes. This is an OC-only Heroes RPG. There are several different factions to join (most were player-created) and we're always looking for new blood, new ideas, and new directions from the people who matter the most: the players!

Type of Banner: Static and scrolling.

Where Will Your Banner be Placed? We place all banners as scrolling by default. If you would like to be added to our static banner, please apply for static affiliation here.

Status on Board: Site Admin

How long has the board been around? 4 years as of 16 July 2012.

Number of Players: About 30, but a lot of them are on Away status right now due to health/personal issues which is why we're looking for new members. We're still managing to keep the plot moving and are hoping that a site revamp will breathe new life into things.

Why affiliate with us? Us RP boards gotta stick together. (; Eclipse is seriously an extension of family. Whenever a member's in trouble IRL, we've always helped bail them out--even if they live overseas. We really genuinely care about all of our members outside of the game and will put our lives on hold to help one of them out when they need it.

Case in point: I fell on some rough times at the beginning of September 2012. I didn't have enough money to pay my rent, bills, buy food, etc. I posted a donation thread, and everyone banded together and donated enough money to tide me over until I got paid next. Without that, either my rent would have bounced, or I wouldn't have been able to eat. We have some really amazingly thoughtful, caring people on this site, and we're always there for each other--even if we're thousands of miles away.

Some of us are also planning a trip sometime next year to meet up with our RP counterparts across the pond. (: We're a really great, tight-knit community, and we're always very welcoming to new people. Always looking to extend the family further!

Do we need to apply for affiliates on your board? If you want to be moved from our scrolling banner to our list of static affiliates, yes.
