Many moons have past since the warrior cats formed in the forest and the forest is in more danger than it has seen in many, many seasons. Riverclan’s deputy, Oakheart, has been killed in battle and his replacement, Mistyfoot, must choose someone to become deputy for her while she nurses her kits. A young apprentice of Windclan strives to become leader, proving his cunning and strength by stealing from other clans. Wildpaw of Shadowclan disappears over the border into Thunderclan territory. A young loner and her three kits join Thunderclan, but soon find that clan life is nothing like they expected. And Tigerclaw, Thunderclan’s strongest warrior, has deserted his clan to be with his love, Princess. Among it all a prophecy rises as the clans’ only hope.
